Our founder had dealt with dry eyes almost every night for years on end and never found a good solution. He saw the blue-light blocker hype, hoped it would help with the dry eyes. They didn't. That's when the idea for VIGIL started.

Yes. Dry, tired eyes from screens happen because you blink around half as often when you're focused, so your eyes don't stay properly lubricated and start to feel gritty and irritated. VIGIL adds moisture back to the surface of the eye and helps it stay there, which relieves the dryness for longer.

Close your eyes and spray once or twice over each eye from a few inches away, then blink to spread it. It takes about ten seconds. Because it's preservative-free, it's suitable for regular use through the day, use it whenever your eyes feel dry. If the dryness never really lets up, that can be a sign of something worth getting checked.

They share a goal but work differently. Standard drops mostly lubricate, then drain or evaporate, so relief is brief. VIGIL's hyaluronic acid and chondroitin bind water and hold it on the eye, so hydration lasts longer. It's a mist you spray over closed eyes. No aiming, no drip, and it works over contacts. It's preservative-free, so you can use it often without the irritation preserved drops can cause. And it adds antioxidants and panthenol to prevent damage that screens do to your eyes. VIGIL is not just lubrication.

Yes. Since your eyes need to be closed before spraying, contacts will not be in the way. During the blinking all the actives will spread effectively regardless of your contacts. It's useful later in the day when your contacts start to feel dry and uncomfortable.
